Toronto’s Got Talent!

Everyone has a talent. It could be singing, dancing, painting, doing card tricks, or even the ability to touch your tongue to your nose. Our students have some amazing and diverse talents, and our December Talent Show proved just that!

Earlier this month, students gathered in Rooms 2 and 3 to perform and share their talents.

Essa from Saudi Arabia, showed off his amazing photography skills. Students were very curious as see the different cities in the U.S. that Essa had captured so well.

Silvano from Italy, wowed the crowd with his soccer tricks, keeping a soccer ball from touching the floor for many minutes at a time. All the students couldn’t stop looking as Silvano balanced the ball on his feet. Happy Feet is how he was described afterwards.

Music was popular this time round, as Andreas from Colombia played “Californication,” a very popular Red Hot Chili Peppers song on the guitar. The room went completely silent in appreciation while he was playing, and burst into spontaneous applause at the end. We even had one of the staff members, Mateen, play Ed Sheeran’s ‘Photograph’ during the show!

The audience was greatly impressed by the performers, demonstrating their varied and amazing talents. It was great to see the shier students in the audience cheer on their schoolmates. Perhaps inspired by their friends doing these wonderful things, they too will participate next time in Eurocentres Toronto Got Talent.

All in all, it was a nice way to end our Friday classes and have some fun before the weekend!

We want you to show off your talent at the next event. So, bring your friends, make new friends, let your hair down and have some fun!
