Graeme Rackham

At our Vancouver school, we recently said farewell to our Director of Studies, Graeme Rackham. Graeme has worked at Eurocentres Vancouver for over six years as a teacher, activities coordinator, program director for the junior program at UBC, and finally Director of Studies at the downtown school. Graeme and his wife are about to embark on their next adventure to San Diego, California to be closer to their family. We are also delighted to know that he will be working at our San Diego school, so if he really misses us all too much, he can call every day and see how we are!

If we were to ask anyone what Graeme has brought to the school, apart from his cheeky smile and finely chiseled beard, it would be his caring attitude and warm personality. Graeme grew up in Japan for a number of years and speaks Japanese fluently, but we never had to give him a yellow card for speaking Japanese in the school! He helped make our school a comfortable environment for students to learn English.

Everyone at the school wanted to thank Graeme for his hard work, fun sense of humour, warm personality and friendship over the years. He has left most of us with a selfie or two on our cell phones to remember him by! We wish Graeme all the success in the world for his new life in San Diego. The students and staff will be lucky to have him in their lives there.
